Jomsom Muktinath trek is one of the popular trekking in Nepal belonging Annapurna region. Jomsom Muktinath trek follows the Kali Gandaki Valley between the soaring peaks of Annapurana and Dhaulagiri and then emerges north of the main Himalayan range, on the dry, desert - like Tibetan plateau. You would be walking over The World’s deepest gorge created by Annapurna and Dghaulagiri, enjoying the massive view of Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri (8167m) Himalaya ranges in this trek.
Jomsom Muktinath trek is known as spiritual destination for both Hindus and Buddhist .You will come across many internal tourists as well as Indian tourists due to its sanctity. The Hindus call the sacred place Mukti Kshetra, which literally means the "place of rescue". The Buddhists call it Chumig Gyatsa, which in Tibetan means 'Hundred Waters'.
